She's known as the girl who made a music video back in 2007 endorsing Obama for the 2008 presidential campaign, called "I've Got a Crush on Obama." Amber Lee Ettinger, now a model and actress, immediately became a YouTube sensation her video went viral. From that moment on the 'Obama Girl' title stuck with her. Now that Obama is back on the campaign trail for a second term, you would think she would have already come out with another music video professing her love or support for him. However, that 's not the case this time around.
According to the Politico Ettinger hasn't decided on whether or not she will be voting for Obama. She continued on to say that, "it's not that she doesn't like Obama anymore."
I think Obama Girl symbolizes all the Americans who were infatuated with Barack Obama going into the 2008 presidential campaign and in the first few months of his presidency, but then realized they made a huge mistake voting for him. Over time they became aware of how his policies were re-shaping America.
Hopefully, she and the millions of other Americans will come to a consensus that we need a president who has the ability to bring us out of this economic slump. I think Ettinger knows who she's going to vote for, but she's hesitant to answer because her faith has faded in President Obama. Perhaps tonight on "Hannity" she will reveal whether she'll be getting back on the Obama bandwagon. Or maybe she'll make another music video, but this time it'll be called "Romney's Girl."
Only way to find out is to watch "Hannity" tonight at 9 p.m. ET!
