Beginning with Governor Mark Sanford's infidelity last June with his Argentine mistress, South Carolina can not seem to escape political scandal -- especially in recent weeks.

Alvine Green, the man behind the primary mystery, received the Democratic Senate nomination in South Carolina, despite being charged with showing obscene photos to a college student and hardly even campaigning in the months leading up to Tuesday's primaries.

Nikki Haley overcame allegations of infidelity to secure the GOP nomination for governor.

So what's with all the drama South Carolina?
