POWERS: I'm no fan of FRC or Tony Perkins. I'm pretty open about that. But I do think what's important about this is gay rights groups have made the argument that when someone does a hateful sermon about gay people, it can lead to violence. I think that's true. They need to consider that the hateful language that they use about people who are against gay marriage also can lead to violence.
SCOTT: Next on "News Watch," a picture and a few worthy words to go with it.
SCOTT: Here is a photo that got some media attention earlier this week. At a campaign stop in Iowa, an AP photographer captured this image. It seems to give you the impression that Mr. Obama is holding glowing orb and maybe conjuring up a spell to make everything all better.
The photo also inspired some creative captioning, like this one from meangenerator.net, "Has crystal ball, still doesn't know what Biden will say next."
And so we at the "Fox News Watch" panel tried to get crafty, too. Here's my own, "Need clarity now, Joe or Hillary."
And next, from Kirsten, "They said this would fix everything. Wonder if I can get my money back."
And from Cal, this plea, "Help me. Obi-wan"
That's a wrap for "News Watch" for this week.
Thanks to our Judy Miller, Jim Pinkerton, Cal Thomas and Kirsten Powers.
I'm Jon Scott. Thanks for watching. Keep it here on Fox News Channel. We'll see you next week.
