Question: Has there ever been a time in U.S. history in which so many states have sued the federal government?

Answer: According to Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, there has never been a time in U.S. history in which so many states have sued the federal government. Often when a state disagrees with the federal government, a settlement is reached before a lawsuit proceeds. Judge Napolitano says the government often prevents the lawsuit by “bribing” the state, or providing financial incentive in order to have the States follow what Congress requests.
