PHOTOS: Kate Middleton Goes for 'Nude' Look in Lace Peplum Dress
When it comes to her latest ensemble, the Duchess of Cambridge is keeping things fresh. While the color could have easily washed out Middleton's features, it proved to be a respectable, gorgeous dress for such an important event. For the commemorations on Friday, the 34-year-old mother of two paired her look with a blacked Lock & Co fascinator, along with a poppy and cornflower on her gown, which were reported as "the only visible sign of life in the devastated area" during the battle. "Kate Middleton is the epitome of how to wear lace," says style expert Melissa Liebling-Goldberg. "It’s an utterly feminine fabric, but the slim silhouettes she picks keep it looking modern, along with her sleek accessories.
