As a general rule of thumb, we prefer not to use public bathrooms in busy airport terminals. But if we're talking about the restrooms at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, we just might eat dinner off the floor.

The newly renovated bathrooms at MSP have earned the 15th annual America's Best Restroom Award after earning the most votes in a national survey. According to Cintas — the restroom-supply company who presents the award — the MSP's new bathroom zones "are highlighted by softer lighting and a material palette that serves as a wayfinding icon." Furthermore, each restroom's entrance features an "original mosaic" created by a local artist:
In other words, we just insist on a quick layover at MSP then next time we're passing through the area. (One first-class ticket to toilet town, please! We'll take our Kosher meal in the stall!)
