4 Fashion-Forward Eye Shadows for Runway-Ready Eyes
For this season’s fall eye looks, we found that designers did not shy away from using bold metallics and bright pops of color. Karen Walker used bright greens and oranges on her models, and Jason Wu went with a fierce metallic purple hue (above).

If you’re looking to replicate some of these designers’ runway looks, we've compiled a list of our top eye shadow choices for this fall’s trends.
Check out our top four picks below:
Too Faced: Pretty Rebel Beauty Eye Shadow Palette, $46
The Pretty Rebel eye shadow palette comes with 10 colors — seven are metallic and three are matte. This is an absolute steal if you’re looking for a palette that offers richly pigmented metallic shades for a great price! One of my favorite shadows in the palette is Girly. What I love about this shade is that it is so multidimensional. The base color is a reddish brown, but when the light hits it, it gives off a metallic green, silver and gold sheen. It’s the most unique eye shadow I have ever tried! The palette also has a stunning hot pink matte shade to add that pop of color to your look. And, like most the Too Faced eye shadow palettes, a How-To Glamour Guide detailing three awesome different eye looks is included. And as a bonus, the packaging is super cute!
Make Up For Ever: Blue Sepia Palette, $45
The name of the palette definitely gives you a good idea of the colors you can expect to find. The majority of the colors in the palette are sepia shades, or neutral browns. But, the stand-out shade in this palette is the gorgeous blue, which they named Petrol Blue. It's a blue-green iridescent shade that perfectly complements beige tones and adds that unique pop of color.
This is great for on-the-go because it comes with two high-quality eye shadow brushes. The fibers on these brushes are the same ones used in the new Make Up Forever brush collection, so these are the real deal!
M.A.C: Rick Baker Spider Queen Eye Shadow Palette, $44
This palette has a gorgeous matte shade called Lime that isn’t overly bright, which makes it more wearable for an everyday look. The color is a toned-down shade that still provides that pop of color that we’re seeing as a big trend this fall. The pigmentation is great, and it isn’t chalky. Also included in the palette is a shade called Moss, which has a frost texture. This provides a beautiful shimmery finish that looks great on top of Lime. It brings the matte shade to life, and serves as a wonderful complement. The palette also includes three purple shades and a matte black. Definitely recommend this product!
Dior: Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow: 021 Etoile, $30
I’ve never tried an eye shadow product quite like this one before. Dior describes these single-shadow pots as having a “mousse-gel texture,” which I definitely found to be true. There are a couple different ways to apply the product, and depending on which technique you use, it provides a different makeup finish. You can apply it with your finger, which will soften the effect, or you can use the sponge tip applicator that comes inside the packaging. Using this applicator will deepen and intensify the color. If you’re looking for the bold metallic eye looks that were on the runway, definitely give this product a try!
