Makeup artist Lauren Cosenza shows us how to get this fall trend by mixing lip, cheek, and eye colors from the same palette for a chic, consistent look.
Check out the video above to see how you can re-create the look on your own.
Line your upper and lower lashline. Lauren uses M.A.C cosmetics Beet Lip Pencil to line Christina's eyes and then diffuses the hard lines with a smudger brush, creating a soft wash of color.
Apply shadow base. To create a custom wet-finish eye color, Lauren combines Katherine Cosmetics Bonneymede Everyday Cheek Glow Cream Blush with Estee Lauder X-Pose Rose Cello Shots Pure Color Lipshine. She brushes the color over Christina's lids from the lashline to the crease. You can also run the brush under your eye to diffuse the color. "This will give your eyes a romantic, gradiated feel," says Lauren.
Neutralize or intensify the shade. To intensify the look, Lauren used NYX Jet Black Eyeliner around the lashline. She says not to worry about drawing a perfect line, because you're going to blend the black into the color with a smudger brush.Tip: if you want to tone down the shade, Lauren says you can neutralize it using a lighter eyeliner such as white.
Mascara. To further intensify the look, Lauren coats Christina's lashes with Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket in Blackest Black.
