1 ½ pounds lean ground pork
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons fresh oregano, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 lime juice, squeezed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 (9-pack) whole wheat english muffins
Mix the first seven ingredients.
Then add oil, minced garlic, ketchup, lime juice, and stir until well-combined.
Add pork. Using your hands, mix well and form nine patties.
In a deep non-stick skillet, cook on medium for 6 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another 4-5 mins.
Toast english muffin and top burger with greens and guacamole or sliced avocado.
