Arnold Schwarzenegger (seen here with wife Maria Shriver celebrating his 2003 election) has recently acknowledged fathering a child with a member of his household staff.
The actor's engagement to Sienna Miller (seen here) came to an abrupt end after Daisy Wright, 26, nanny to his children with ex Sadie Frost, sold a tabloid tell-all about their romp, which famously included a tryst on a pool table. Calling himself "deeply ashamed and upset," Law apologized to all, but that didn't save his relationship.
Shania Twain's Husband, Robert "Mutt" Lange
The reclusive Mutt has always denied an affair with Marie-Anne Thiebaud, his secretary, manager of the couple's chateau in Switzerland and, according to Twain (shown here), someone she considered a friend. Twain, on the other hand, wrote her side of the story in this year's memoir, "From This Moment On." She also may have had the last laugh: On New Year's Day, she married Marie-Anne's discarded husband, Frederic.
When Rebecca Loos (left, seen here at a game with Victoria Beckham), the soccer star's personal assistant while he was playing for Real Madrid in Spain, claimed she and the footballer had had an affair, Beckham denied it and wife Victoria called her a "lying cow." The tabloid-dubbed "sleazy señorita" went on to become a reality TV staple; the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles--together, this time.
The comic and actor met Marsha Garces when she was hired as a nanny to his son with his first wife. She then went on to be his secretary and personal assistant--and then second wife. Theirs was one of Hollywood's most long-lasting marriages, until she filed for divorce in 2008.
Chris de Burgh
In 1994, the "Lady in Red" singer acknowledged having an affair with his children's 19-year-old nanny, Maresa Morgan, while his wife, Diane (seen here), was in the hospital after a horse-riding accident.
After the long-time Senator – famous for his segregationist past – died in 2003, the persistent rumor that he had had a half African-American child was proven true when Essie Mae Washington-Williams came forward. Her mother had been a 16-year-old maid in Thurmond's family's household when Thurmond was 22.
Ryan Shawhughes (seen here) went into her marriage with the actor with eyes wide open: She was nanny to his children with ex Uma Thurman when they met. The couple is now married and have two children. And Hawke sees nothing tawdry in any of this. "I liken my situation to 'The Sound of Music,' not to Jude Law," he told the New York Daily News.
Arnold is not the first person alleged to have had an illicit relationship with someone working for him.
