If you're one of the four people on the planet who sees a candle and thinks, "I wish there was an adorable baby dinosaur hiding under all that wax," then congrats! You're going to be thrilled with the season's hottest new holiday item! (Or you're the inventor of that item.)

The Hatching Dinosaur Candle from Firebox starts out looking similar to any of the several hundred egg-shaped candles you might find online, but after you light the wick, the wax melts to reveal an tiny prehistoric velociraptor.

Here, take a look. This is how the candle appears after you first light it up …

… and here's how it looks after the wax has melted away to reveal the terrifying face of a deadly prehistoric carnivore:

Unfortunately, the Hatching Dinosaur Candle is already sold out at Firebox.com, but the company is currently taking pre-orders, presumably while they wait on a larger porcelain "mama" velociraptor to begin her next reproductive cycle and lay another batch of wax eggs. (Or sometime in 2016, according to Firebox.)
