April and Spring Break are finally here and we are seeing some nice spring weather! It also means we are in the home stretch of the school year.

What can we expect to save money on?

Seasonal foods. This week in particular is perfect to buy an extra spiral ham since they are at an optimal price range due to Easter. I don’t expect to see these great prices again until the fall. Same thing with Peeps and Easter candy; keep an eye out for clearance prices.

Cleaning Products. I’m not sure who designated spring as the time to purge and clean our homes but this is the perfect time to stock up on cleaning products, vacuum cleaners and the like.

Organic Products. Earth day is April 22nd. Around that week you’ll see offers for Earth-friendly products. Keep tabs on your favorite health food stores and restaurants for good deals.

Tax Products and Services. I’m sorry to remind you but Tax Season is in full force. Last day to file or ask for an extension is April 17th. I expect to see better pricing in tax software as well as paper shredders, file cabinets, all-in-one printers and other office related accessories.
