"The Son of Man," René Magritte

This surrealist self-portrait is strikingly close to the original painting. Shkondina utilized deep purple eggplant for the man's suit, red apple for the tie, and a green apple to represent...the green apple.

"Starry Night"- Vincent Van Gogh

Look closely and you'll find a range of delicious goodies amidst the dark sky: blueberries, black beans, wild rice and more.

"Composition with Large Red Plane, Yellow, Black, Gray, and Blue"- Piet Mondrian

Shkondina creates a striking, geometric mosaic very reminiscent of the abstract painter's well-known style that featured straight squares and lines with watermelon, Swiss cheese, and crackers.

"Woman in Red in the Forest"- Henri Rosseau

This leafy paradise is worthy of its own museum display. Severeal types of peppers, leaves and herbs like rosemary form a lush forest-like background for the artist's tiny female figure. She herself is made from delicately cut red bell pepper.

"Dollar Sign" - Andy Warhol

Cabbage, broccoli and Brussel sprouts are green-- just like the color of money. This bright, almost fluorescent, composition is a beautiful homage to the contemporary artist who never shied away from being bold.

"Dove of Peace" - Pablo Picasso

Simple, elegant and strikingly similar. Shkondina employed the use of just two ingredients in this recreation: thin noodles of black ink pasta and a few herbs.

"Fruits-n-Vegetables girl"

Shot for a men's magazine, this striking composition contains an array of dozens of fruits and vegetables. From bright orange carrots, to deep red peppers, leafy cabbage hair and rather large-ahem-melons-- this must the be true portrait of health.

Little Cheese Bed

We can't imagine a mouse who would turn down the chance to nestle into this cozy bed made from different cheeses. Don't miss the tiny slippers tucked just under the side.
