Chevrolet has taken the wraps off of the convertible version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5th.

Not too many surprises here, the convertible 'Vette features a hard tonneau cover for the soft top with a classic set of humps behind the headrests.

Unlike the hardtop version, which now features rear quarter windows, the fabric roof is a three-window design.

The interior appears identical to the coupe, right down to the Drive Mode Selector, which tailors a dozen dynamic aspects of the car to suit the driver's style.

More details are expected when it is introduced at the show on Tuesday. Chevy chose Geneva to debut the convertible version because it has high hopes that the all-new, more refined seventh generation Corvette will be a strong-seller in Europe and able to compete with the Continent's best sports cars on their own turf.
