Nissan has unveiled its all-new Sentra compact, with a new look inspired by the automaker's best-selling Altima sedan. Larger and lighter than the model it replaces, the new Sentra offers improved fuel economy and interior room.

Nissan says the Sentra has best in class rear legroom, an upscale interior design and an available Pandora-capable infotainment system and navigation with Google Send-to-Car functionality.

The Sentra's 1.8-liter engine produces 130 hp and delivers 35 mpg combined when equipped with Nissan's latest generation CVT automatic transmission, while a FE+ trim level is good for 40 mpg highway.

The Sentra goes on sale this fall, but pricing has not yet been announced.
