All-grown-up Molly Ringwald is selling her East Village duplex penthouse for $1.8 million, the New York Observer says. The co-op hit the market this week and already has hosted dozens of showings.

"The response has been tremendous," listing agent Robert Lewis told us in an email.

The two-bedroom property is located in the St. Marks Historic District and was designed by James Renwick Jr. in 1861. Renwick is the architect who designed St. Patrick's Cathedral, Grace Church, and the Castle building in DC's Smithsonian Institution.

Ringwald's apartment sits in an Anglo-Italianate row house and features wood beam ceilings, two wood-burning fireplaces, marble mosaic tiles in the kitchen, and antique wooden windows. The rooftop boasts views of the Chrysler Building and One World Trade Center.

Former Brat Packer Ringwald, who has owned the duplex since 2004, is best known for her 1980s teen flicks "Sixteen Candles," "The Breakfast Club," and "Pretty in Pink." She's currently starring on the Canadian sitcom "Raising Expectations" with Jason Priestley.
