A season ending in mediocrity and without an NCAA Tournament appearance doomed the job of Arizona State Sun Devils' head coach Herb Sendek. After nine seasons on the sidelines in Tempe, the coach was fired in March 2015. Now, after almost a full year to chill in the desert and with no particular ties to Arizona, the Pittsburgh native is selling his ranch home in Scottsdale for $980,000.

At first glance, the 4,368-square foot home looks sedate and tasteful -- and it is. But a truly wild highlight is out back -- the backyard comes complete with its own zip line. It hovers over the lap pool adjacent to the outdoor BBQ area, which comes with a spa and outdoor television. The party-friendly yard is sure to make a splash with recruits (or buyers).

Inside, the kitchen has its own splash of red color and painted murals above the cabinets and granite countertops. Built in 1996, the single-story home has an open layout and comes with six bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

Before Sendek took over the Sun Devils in 2006, he manned the sidelines as head coach of North Carolina State and Miami University, amassing 407 wins over his career. The free agent coach recently did a casual Periscope interview with legendary broadcaster Dick Vitale and seems to be doing just fine.
