Thomas Keller has recruited Chefs José Andrés and Costas Spiliadis to be apart of New York City’s biggest development since Rockefeller Center.

Keller, chef and owner of the renown French Laundry, is curating the dining options at Hudson Yards, which is on track to become one of the best collections of restaurants in the world when it opens in fall of 2018.

Hudson Yards will also be the largest private real estate development in the history of the U.S. Some 24 million visitors are expected annually.

The restaurant collection at Hudson Yards will be comprised of a dozen restaurants including the Spanish modernist fare by Andrés and a rustic Greek seafood taverna by Spiliadis.  Both restaurants will be inside the 1 million-square-foot Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards complex.

“I'm incredibly excited to join the roster of amazing talent ... that will bring life to this dynamic new neighborhood,” Andrés said in a statement.

Andrés, who has many restaurants nationwide, is famous for his re-interpretation of Spanish food and for popularizing tapas in the U.S. He's also appeared on “Iron Chef America.” This summer he made headlines for a spat he had with real estate developer Donald Trump after the Republican candidate made derogatory remarks about immigrants and pulled out of a deal to open a restaurant inside a Trump-owned hotel in Washington, D.C.

Spiliadis, a Greek native known for bringing high-end Greek fare in the U.S., owns Estiatorio Milos restaurants in New York, with outposts in Miami, Montreal, Las Vegas, Athens, and London.
