While the name "Goldfinger" evokes classic James Bond villainy, architect Myron Goldfinger is guilty only of creating high-end structures.

The American designer's eye-catching estates leapt back into focus thanks to cinematic fame when one of his over-the-top Hamptons creations was featured in Martin Scorsese's " The Wolf of Wall Street."

You'll have to be somewhat of a wolf yourself to acquire a Goldfinger of your own -- they don't come cheap. But they do come with a "wow" factor. For example, this time capsule in New Jersey we wrote about last year features lots of shiny surfaces, custom-designed furniture, and ultrawhite walls.

His architecture is "not for the meek," according to his website. "The designs are based on very sound function and present creative ideas and inventive use of architectural space within the bold exterior forms." Those bold forms take shape in curved walls, open floor plans, and generous footprints.

A few of the prolific designer's projects are currently up for sale. Come mine for gold with us…

Address: 162 Ware Rd, Wilmington, VT

Price: $975,000

Flashback: A Swiss chalet it's not. Instead, the inspiration for this 1979 wintry retreat is more Bauhaus than ski bum. The five-story boxy building includes soaring ceilings, walls of glass, and views of Haystack and Mount Snow. Chill out indoors by the fireplace or enjoy your aprs-ski sauna and hot tub. If you're too sore to move, the elevator will bring you to your floor.

Address: 635 Byram Lake Rd, Bedford Corners, NY

Price: $6,900,000

Flashback: Big Brother is very envious of you if you own this house. Built in 1984, the luxurious estate with lake views combines "design, amenities, and a serene setting," according to the listing. The 8,500-square-foot space includes loftlike interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a roof-top "observatory."

Address: 2 Sands Ln, Sands Point, NY

Price: $2,998,000

Flashback: Located in an exclusive enclave just 30 minutes from New York City, this cedar-and-glass contemporary employs minimalist design so that "nothing detracts from the breathtaking vistas," according to the listing. The open floor plan and generously sized rooms include a two-story dining room, walls of glass, a wraparound cedar deck, and loads of white, built-in furniture.

Address: 24 Plum Beach Point Rd, Sands Point, NY

Sold for: $4,300,000 in June 2015

Flashback: This 1913 Hamptons home didn't start out a Goldfinger, but it ended up as one. The architect was responsible for a remodel in 1986. The oceanfront home includes 260 feet of beachfront, a dock, a pool, a cabana, a gazebo, and 10 water-facing rooms.
