Matthew Shafer, aka Uncle Kracker, is ready for someone to follow him to closing day for his custom-built mansion in Harrison Township, MI, which is on the market for a cool $999,999.

(In case you lived under a rock in the early 2000s, Uncle Kracker is perhaps best known for his breakout song "Follow Me," along with his cover of Dobie Gray's " Drift Away" and multiple musical collaborations with such artists as Kenny Chesney and Kid Rock.)

The 41-year-old singer-songwriter's house is, well, pretty much what you'd expect from the Kid Rock protg.

"It's very custom, especially for the area. It's unlike everything else around here," says listing agent Francesca Krause.

Purple and blue neon lights illuminate the circular chandelier and Roman pillars in the foyer. Then there's the wide array of crystal chandeliers. The zebra-striped chairs. Purple and black walls. Black built-in cabinetry and furniture. LCD neon lights tracing the crown molding.

The house is loud, but it's not quite as loud as Slash's epic party mansion.

"It's got a ton of custom amenities from top to bottom," Krause says. "It takes a while to take them all in."

The 4,709-square-foot home was built in 2003 and has four bedrooms and a four-car garage. The basement has a "pub," complete with arcade games, a foosball table, and a full kitchen.

Shafer even installed a custom-made copper ceiling above the bar, according to Krause. There's also a wine cellar, gym, saltwater pool, cabana, and koi pond.

"It's set up perfectly for a family that wants to entertain -- or just an entertainer," Krause says.

What do you think? For $1 million, is this a "Midnight Special"?
