Shake Shack debuts lobster roll-burger hybrid in New England

It’s a backyard barbecue and a taste of the sea all in one.

Shake Shack is combining two legendary tastes of summer with its new lobster roll-burger hybrid: the Surf ‘N’ Shack.

The sandwich features an Angus beef burger topped with Maine lobster meat—that looks like it’s been tossed in Shack’s signature sauce—topped with lettuce, tomato and more ShackSauce.

Just like the ChickenShack, this new sandwich is only being offered at select locations throughout the Boston and Connecticut areas. At least you know that lobster is fresh.

Though some may doubt the meaty combo, East Coast Shack devotees have already Tweeted their praise for the limited edition menu item:
