In May, we reported on then Philadelphia Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg's attempt to sell his Phoenix home. We were wrong (it happens!) when we said the Hall of Famer wouldn't be leaving Philadelphia any time soon. Sandberg threw a curve and resigned as boss of the struggling squad in June, midway through an awful season.

On his way out of the city of Brotherly Love, the former skipper is selling his full-floor condo at the The Beaumont in Old City, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

Listed for just shy of $1.5 million, the 2,740-square-foot condo boasts a large kitchen with professional appliances, soapstone countertops, and an island, according to the listing notes.

The open-concept living and dining room have a built-in dark-wood entertainment center and a gas fireplace.

The master suite is huge, with room for a sitting area and an impressive master bath with a wraparound vanity, soaking tub, separate shower, and Calacatta marble tile.

We're not sure where this baseball legend is headed next, so we're taking no more guesses as to what his future holds.
