  • 1. President Barack Obama – Broccoli

    While the President and the First Lady have a penchant for all types of cuisine, last year Barack Obama admitted that his favorite food is actually broccoli. This cruciferous vegetable may have been vilified by former President George H.W. Bush but thankfully there are many ways to enjoy this little green member of the cabbage family.

  • 3. Former President Bill Clinton – Cheeseburger

    Few Presidents have been as associated with a favorite food as President Bill Clinton. His notorious love for cheeseburgers even made it into a Saturday Night Live sketch during his time in office. While we certainly don’t recommend indulging every day, try out a new burger recipe if you’re  feeling truly Presidential.

    While President Reagan always kept jelly beans close by, he also enjoyed classic savory dishes as well. One of his favorites, Macaroni and Cheese, is now a beloved American staple that few can turn down.

Washington may not have chopped down a cherry tree but today most historians agree that cherries were definitely a regular staple at Mount Vernon.
