Matt Finn

Matt Finn is a graduate of the 2015 Ailes Junior Reporters Bravo class.

Matt got his feet wet covering stories of national interest in Vegas, including the Amy Bessey murder trial and a fatal nightclub shooting. He also kept tabs on OJ Simpson’s appeal to get out of a Nevada prison.

Before Fox, Matt was a reporter for the CBS affiliate KIMA-TV in Yakima, Washington. He won a First Place Investigative Reporting Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for an undercover story he worked on for nearly two years about a rural property that was home to an illegal puppy mill and garbage dump.

Matt landed several exclusive interviews in the market. Most notably, a one-on-one with a prime suspect in the Goggin triple murder case in which a 98-year-old woman was beat to death in her home. Matt was also an anchor and acted as an online editor during his time at KIMA.

Before that, Matt was a producer and fill-in reporter at the NBC affiliate WBRE-TV in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He produced morning and evening newscasts and created and managed investigative stories for WBRE’s award-winning I-team.

Matt attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he majored in Broadcast Journalism. In Philadelphia, Matt worked a series of internships including at NBC 10; philadelphianeighborhoods.com; and as a public relations reporter for the Office of The Dean at the Fox School of Business.

Matt likes to stay active and prioritizes time with family and friends. He loves the weather and fast-paced lifestyle of Las Vegas.
