We highly recommend taking a trip to Mount Snow to hit the slopes. Advanced skiers can enjoy their variety of ski runs and get cozy on the ski lift, or in the mountain cafe drinking hot chocolate. Beginners can sign up for lessons together and bond over tiny five-year-old advanced skiers zooming down the bunny slope.

We LOVE the White House Inn! Ranked as one of the top ten most romantic places in the world by the NYT – you really can't find a better place to stay during your ski trip. You'll never forget this picturesque Victorian mansion, making for a very memorable Valentine's Day.

If you both love a little southern charm …

Our Pick: Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston is a modern city with lots of southern charm. Celebrate Valentine's Day by taking an old carriage tour to see the sites of the city. While you're down there, dine at Mercato and listen to live jazz.  End your night by sipping on drinks at the Peninsula Grill with a rooftop bar.

If you love to play golf together … okay, let's get real here, if he loves golf and you're ready to relax at a spa and visit art museums …

Combine both of your passions and head out to Scottsdale. You can explore the beautiful attractions in this city and then part ways for a few hours to hit the greens or indulge in the many spa and wellness facilities offered at different resorts.
