Anita Vogel on L.A.'s Best Celeb Sighting Spots

Check out where Hollywood's A-listers hang out!

Believe it or not, one of the hottest locations to spy a celeb here in Los Angeles is right around the corner from our Fox News office … at the Coffee Bean! The Coffee Bean  - at the corner of Olympic and Bundy - is a magnet for the rich and famous.  Consider these sightings by none other than yours truly.

On one occasion, while waiting in line, I looked up to find myself standing behind David Schwimmer of “Friends”  fame. Another time I walked in very early one morning only to witness cool Hollywood couple Diane Lane and Josh Brolin at the counter ... Brolin, sporting sunglasses while inside - the true mark of someone trying to go unnoticed. And my biggest sighting at the Bean about a year ago was the mega-famous cool couple, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher!  I had to take three or four double, triple and quadruple takes to make sure Demi was really who she appeared to be.  She’s so incredibly tiny in person; it was really hard to tell at first …but there was no disputing Ashton was that guy from “That 70’s Show.” The gals behind the counter confirmed it was them and that they were regulars.  That was confirmation enough for me!

My biggest celebrity sighting so far is one that’s hard to beat! At the elegant and cool bar at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, time stood still one evening when none other than George Clooney walked in with a platinum blonde woman.  Even the men in the joint were straining their necks to get a better view of “him” not her.  The place was a buzz with excitement, which says a lot for a locale that is used to big-time actors, models and rock stars hanging around.  He stayed with his lady friend for a drink and left. I heard later from my friend, the bartender, that he came back hours later with his date and closed down the bar singing songs with the piano player.  Where are the paparazzi when you need them???

Let me just add, The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel might actually be the BEST to spot to your favorite star.  I’ve seen Chevy Chase, Rod Stewart and Seal and Heidi Klum there.  Yes ladies, Heidi Klum is disgustingly gorgeous without a drop of makeup … and she smiled and gave a “I’m nice” vibe to boot. We love her!

See you in L.A.!
