Heading to Dallas for Super Bowl XLV? Make sure to experience all the culture the city has to offer. With great museums, shopping, food and entertainment, it won’t be hard to fill a weekend of fun leading up to the Super Bowl!

Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
Are you a history buff? If so, go check out the museum that chronicles the assassination of President John. F. Kennedy Jr. The museum, which is located on the sixth and seventh floors of the Texas Book Depository building, is where Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly shot the president in 1963.

Public ArtWalk Dallas
Weather permitting, the ArtWalk is a fantastic, free activity. The self-guided, 3.3-mile tour highlights 30 pieces of art and architecture in the Arts District of Dallas.

OVO - Cirque du Soleil
The famous show is at the Dr. Pepper Arena from January 28th to February 27th.

Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam
Kid Rock, Duran Duran and Jason Derulo will all be performing at the annual, nationally televised concert.

Museum of Nature and Science
Fun for the whole family, the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science is currently hosting an exhibit called “Dinosaurs Unearthed,” featuring lifelike animatronic dinosaurs!

NFL Experience

Open since January 27th, the NFL Experience is possibly the biggest family event surrounding the Super Bowl. At the Dallas Convention Center, your family can partake in games, displays, football clinics, autograph sessions and more!

Dallas Aquarium
Who said Dallas was landlocked? Go see all kinds of sea creatures from 14 countries and three oceans!

Galleria Dallas
One of the premiere shopping venues in the country, Galleria Dallas boasts more than 200 stores and an ice-skating rink. Don’t worry about over-packing, just plan a day at the mall!

Fort Worth Stockyards
If it’s nice weather, take a walk around the historic district, which was a former livestock market dating back to 1866. At night, it’s a lively part of town, full of bars and nightclubs.

Dallas Farmer’s Market
Grab a coffee and take a stroll through the farmer’s market, which sells local produce, meat and specialty foods.
