Go Fug YourselfThe Comic Relief: gofugyourself.celebuzz.com
In a nutshell: A blog that pokes fun at fashion don’ts and disasters made by your favorite stars and celebs. The blog’s use of the term "fugly" refers to “fantastically ugly,” which is used throughout the blog to describe famous fashionistas' style and beauty mistakes.
The brains behind the blog: Heather and Jessica were friends for years before starting GFY, "We were at the mall one day, over-caffeinated -- and we noticed that all the movie posters and ads at the Beverly Center were really, REALLY bad. And we joked to each other that maybe that was the new trend - that fugly was the new pretty -- and we sort of cracked each other up. So we started the blog just as an inside joke."
Why we love it: The site is witty and fun while the blog posts are a refreshing departure from most celeb-worshipping fashion commentary. Despite the harsh critique, the bloggers aren’t mean and know their way around the fashion world. Some of the funniest posts are fake conversations between celebs who are photographed together. For example (see the picture to the left and blog entry below…)Hilary Swank: Oh, whoops, am I wandering into somebody's photo?
Juliette Lewis: YES. But that's okay, lady-sister, you get over here and you stand with us and work your woman-heat!
Minnie Driver: What I think she's trying to say is, you can stand with us. If you want. If you dare. -
Frugal FashionistaThe Shopping Guide: frugalfashionsitas.com
In a nutshell: A blog that shows you not only what to wear, but how to wear it for less! Regularly updated with celebrity looks on the cheap, sales tips and the latest trends, the site is a go-to for fashionsitas on a budget.
The brains behind the blog: Sally Glover is a self-confessed style junkie with a passion for budget-friendly fashion and is happy to have found a way to channel these hobbies creatively at both Frugal Fashionista and her newly launched sister site, Wardrobe Diaries.
Why we love it: The “celebs-for-less” entries that feature our favorite stylish stars and almost identical outfits for way less than they probably paid are fantastic.

This is GlamorousThe Inspiration: thisisglamorous.com
In a nutshell: A blog that celebrates both fashion and interior design. It serves less as a shopping guide and more as a catalog of beautiful images including look books, ad campaigns, fashion photography, runway shows and interior images.
The brains behind the blog: Roseline started her blog in 2007. "Fashion had always been this alluring, enchanting creative force that inspired me more and more, eventually overflowing and needing a place of its own."
Why we love it: The blogger's vision is concise – her inspiration boards feature both interior and fashion design and are pretty, romantic, elegant and in fact glamorous. Roseline does not dabble in the edgy or dark, but the light and lovely with a slightly retro-dreamy feel. Her entries are a celebration of words – her descriptions as pretty as the images she features. Here’s a sample.
... sequins, organza, tweed and georgette, cotton organdie and silk brocade, tulle and pompoms, and frills and froth, continuing on with a love for things australian recently, and desperately head over heels for mrs. press, sydney-based and overflowing with luxurious finishes and the finest fabrics, perfect for the girl who lives "a world of 1930s silk chemises, french knickers, fragile kimonos, champagne breakfasts and antique lace . . ."

Garance DoreThe Inside Look: garancedor.fr/en/
In a nutshell: What began as a place for Garance to display her drawings has evolved into a snapshot of global street fashion. The blog is less hoity-toity than style.com but more insider than most sites and blogs. Featuring runway videos, street style photos and her own illustrations, Garance presents a sneak peek into the untouchable world of fashion.
The brains behind the blog: Garance Dore is an illustrator who became frustrated with the commissions she had. She started her blog because she wanted to do something more free and spontaneous.
Why we love it: The reader gets the sense that Garance is always front row, behind the camera, sitting in a café sipping champagne or at the most stylish shindig in town. Reading the blog is like taking a trip to Paris with the blogger as your style guide with a sense of humor.

The SartorialistThe Voyeuristic Experience: thesartorialist.blogspot.com
In a nutshell: A street style photo blog that features stylish people whom Scott Schuman has spotted and photographed with his digital camera. The blog is peppered with fashion show shots and also features men’s style, which many don’t.
The brains behind the blog: Scott Schuman worked in the fashion industry for 15 years in sales and marketing for designer collections like Valentino and even owned his own showroom. He started the blog because he felt there was a disconnect between what he was selling and what he was seeing people wearing in real life.
Why we love it: Shuman's travels expose some of the most fashionable men and women in the world and he usually leaves the commentary to us. When he does chime in, he's almost always positive and often blogs about his travels with fellow blogger and girfriend, Garance Dor.

Elements of StyleThe relatable: elementsofstyleblog.com
In a nutshell: A blog dedicated primarily to home design with elements of style and fashion as well.
The brains behind the blog: Erin Gates is a an interior and fashion stylish who is refreshingly candid and relatable when discussing fashion and home design. Reading her entries is like having coffee with a girlfriend – she is funny, clever and budget conscious.
Why we love it: Fashion Fridays – her weekly style breakdown includes design crushes, trend spottings, and favorite catalog buys. Erin intertwines her love of fashion and interiors seamlessly.
