Pretty in Pink
Did Michelle's suit at the Health Care address need some first aid?

The First Lady's fashion sense needs some major resuscitation after the President's Address on Health Care. Usually one of our fashion faves, Michelle chose a pink suit, which was all wrong. While we loved the color (that looked beautiful with Michelle's hair and make-up btw), the boxy suit was not a good choice for the FLOMA's figure. One of the reasons we usually love Michelle's picks is that she knows what works for her and she accentuates her assets namely THOSE arms! Often opting for sleeveless tops and pencil skirts, Michelle usually looks sleek and modern, classy and elegant. Unfortunately she chose a boxy jacket that was too short for her torso, a pleated skirt brought attention to her hips, and 3/4 sleeves that hid her amazing arms. The sparkly broach bordered on tacky, and the bow was a reminder of Jackie Kennedy's style, maybe inspired by our favorite show Mad Men? Unfortunately, it looked dated, and too girly for the normally chic First Lady.
So, we were not fans this time around, Michelle. Better luck next time. We'll be crossing our fashionable fingers!
