Can the Lady Do Wrong?Looking better than almost ever, Michelle looked incredible in this off-the-shoulder flannel Narcisso Rodriguez dress at a White House event honoring a select few for Women's History Month. What a picture! Certainly a far cry from the red splatter painted style she wore on Election night that we hated!

The Plane ChangeWhen Michelle emerged from Air Force One, she was like a breath of sunshine in a yellow silk dress by Jason Wu and a black belt she's worn before. Looking as fabulous as the stylish First Lady is not that difficult- simply find designers you know work for you, and invest in accessories like a great wide belt, you can wear season after season.
-
Dowdy TulleTo board Air Force One on her way to Europe for the G20 summit, Michelle chose an ivory tulle coat by Thakoon worn over a black sheath by Michael Kors, and accessorized with a floral broach and strand of pearls. Unfortunately, her usual chic and modern style was replaced with this dowdy number that was definitely not our favorite look!
-
Back to BasicsSome of Michelle's most talked about outfits are not high-end designs, but purchases from J. Crew. The aqua pencil skirt and print cardigan she wore when meeting with Prime Minister Brown and wife Sarah was signature Michelle and a great Spring choice.

Remember Those ShoesWearing an argyle cardigan by Japanese designer Junya Watanabe and wide turquoise skirt from Jason Wu, Michelle wowed the crowd while visiting London's language school. Notice the shoes? They're the same ones she wore to the Inauguration. Way to recycle, Michelle.

Mixed Reviews, iMag FavoriteThis two toned Isabel Toledo dress Michelle wore to meet the Queen received mixed reviews, but we loved it! The ivory tank top was thought by some to look too casual, while the cardigan was viewed as frumpy. We thought however, the simple and stylish dress (with an origami-style waistband that unfortunately didn't photograph well), was effortless, classic, and not an obvious choice. And Michelle's favorite cardigan was perfectly appropriate to meet the mum.

Those Rockstar ArmsIn case you were wondering, Michelle did show her famously cut arms when she removed her cardigan. Still wearing her lovely Toledo dress for the G20 working dinner, Michelle looked elegant and modern!
-
Thakoon Done RightTake that Carla Bruni. Women everywhere can feel secure that a former super model isn't always the most stylish. Michelle looked stunning in this Thakoon coat with red poppy print and neck tie. Bruni paled in comparison in a taupe suede coat with a large neck bow and a slim matching belt.
-
Reversed StyleUnder that gorgeous Thakoon coat was a not-as-pretty magenta dress with the same poppy print. While we loved the pattern, the shape wasn't our fave. Michelle should have left the coat on.

The Global Goddess' # 1 StyleIt doesn't get much better than this. The shape, color, and fabric of the Azzedine Alaia dress Michelle wore at the cultural event in Baden-Baden, Germany was perfection. Her hair was perfect, her heels were just right. Michelle was a true global goddess.
