Should Rihanna and Chris Brown Be Collaborating on a Song?
We want your opinion on this musical collaboration.
We all remember the shocking photos of Rihanna after she was physically abused by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009. There was a harsh fallout following the altercation, leaving many to wonder if Brown’s career would survive. Who would have thought that just three years later, not only would Brown win a Grammy, but he and Rihanna would reunite to collaborate on music together?
Earlier this week via Twitter, Rihanna and Chris Brown released two musical collaborations. One of the tracks, a remix of Rihanna’s song “Birthday Cake,” is saturated with sex-fueled lyrics that hint to a (more than just professional) reunion between the two. Nevermind public opinion about their personal relationship, the musical collaboration was not received without criticism. Rihanna has become a role model for young girls and a symbol of strength and resilience for women everywhere. Many believe the artist is sending the wrong message to fans. So we want to know: Do you support Rihanna collaborating with Chris Brown?
