If I am someone's plus-one do I have to bring a gift?
Typically each person should bring a gift. Now, if you are a plus one and you don't know the bride and groom that well, your gift should be covered by the person who was invited. It also depends on what kind of relationship you have with the person who is bringing you. If you are seriously dating, then you should both pay.
