2012's Dangerously Delicious Super Bowl Recipe
Try this game-changing Super Bowl recipe.
This is not a recipe for the calorie-conscious, the straight-edged, or the weary. It is a jaw-dropping, heart stopping, caloric adventure. It’s one for the buffalo wing addicts, the cream cheese crazies, and the ranch dressing dreamers. It’s a perfect combination of spicy and sweet, crunchy and creamy, pleasure and pain. Give it to your man this Super Bowl Sunday, and you’re sure to score (if he doesn't fall asleep with a smile on his face directly after ingesting).
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Serving Size: A lot of guys
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 Pounds of chicken breasts
1 12-Ounce bottle Frank’s Hot Wing Sauce (do not substitute with Tabasco)
8-Ounces of cream cheese, softened
8-Ounces (half a bottle) of Ranch dressing
1/2 Cup of chopped celery
4-Ounces of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Poach the chicken breasts in boiling water until cooked through. Drain, let cool and then pull meat apart with a fork.
3. In a nine inch casserole dish, spread out the chicken and pour the wing sauce over. Mix well and spread out, covering the entire bottom of the dish.
4. In a medium sized saucepot, combine the cream cheese and ranch dressing. Whisk while heating until smooth (you don’t want any cream cheese clumps).
5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken and spread out. Sprinkle the celery on top. Bake for fifteen minutes.
6. After fifteen minutes, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and continue baking for another ten to fifteen minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbling. Remove from oven and let sit for ten minutes.
7. Stir well and serve with chips, celery sticks and buffalo chicken wings.
