Celebrity host, CEO of Modern Mom, and former "Dancing with the Stars" champion Brooke Burke strutted her stuff down the runway in New York City on September 15th at the Style 360 Pink Dress Runway Show presented by Clarisonic. She closed the event by modeling a Nicole Miller pink satin cocktail dress with a Limited Edition Clarisonic in hand.

In addition to Brooke Burke, Clarisonic's resident "celebrity", Dr. Robb Akridge was on-site to lend his support for the Susan G. Komen foundation. Having many close friends and colleagues affected by breast cancer over the years, and as a former scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Dr. Robb was grateful to be involved in yet another fight against the disease.

"Clarisonic is honored to be sponsoring the Pink Dress Collection Runway Show to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It's been great to be involved in such a wonderful event and to contribute in such a meaningful way," Dr. Robb said.  "Since October 2007 Clarisonic has donated more than $500,000 to fund breast cancer screenings and research, and with the help of proceeds from the Limited Edition Clarisonic, we hope to contribute in a much bigger way towards the fight against breast cancer."

When asked about the most meaningful part of the Style 360 Fashion Show, Dr. Robb thoughtfully responded, "I got to share with these extraordinary women who survived breast cancer some skin care tips to help replenish moisture and get back the youthful glowing skin they had prior to the treatments they have undergone. Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments wreak havoc on your skin - and to be able to help these women regain the beautiful skin they had prior to treatments was very rewarding."

The Clarisonic uses a patented sonic technology, where the bristles oscillate at a rate of 300 movements per second to clean, soften and smooth your skin. With just 60 seconds a day, the Clarisonic micro-massage action cleans more than twice as effectively as manual cleansing, and removes 6X more makeup.

Every purchase of the Limited Edition Clarisonic raises funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer with an unprecedented 50% of the profit going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which debuted September 15th on www.clarisonic.com.  Be sure to check our special video series from the event, where we caught up with the celebrities who strut their stuff down the catwalk.
