As a makeup artist, I've searched high and low for the best products the cosmetics industry has to offer. What I've discovered is that no matter what your financial standing is, you can achieve a glamorous look using either high-end cosmetics or those found in your local drugstore.
Often, expensive cosmetic companies found in boutiques and department stores create and distribute similar products that cater to a clientele who can't afford to break the bank.

Brush up on your basics
Makeup brushes are a beauty must have. In my search for those perfect bristles, I came across two brands that stood above the rest; Sonia Kashuk & Bobbi Brown.

The cost of quality
In our search to compare beauty products I found the biggest difference in quality.
When applying the shadows from high end lines I needed just one dab of the shadow. When using the drugstore brands, I had to use a lot more shadow to create the same effect.
Foundation is an extremely important investment. In the market currently there is no other foundation to even come close to beautiful texture or amazing coverage as Make Up For Ever HD Foundation; especially ones found in the drugstore.
