Project 1: Candle TrayWhen it comes to decorating for fall, there are three things you need for a fantastic result: different textures, the layering of the textures and it has to smell good! You can't go wrong if you incorporate all of these.
What you'll need:
Candles - We suggest Home Goods or Hobby Lobby
Candle Holders - We suggest Home Goods, Hobby Lobby or Pier 1
Fall Decor Fillers - We suggest Z Gallerie or Michael's
1 Tray - Use one you have! -
Fall FillersI got these pieces at Z Gallerie a couple years ago and they are still my favorite filler for this time of year. It's got glitz, they're natural and warm. Just add a generous amount in and around the candles, and make sure the filler is not high enough to be near the flame.
-
Add CandlesI had the two larger candleholders, and purchased the three smaller ones for $1.50 each at Hobby Lobby. I placed them so the sizes were layered, and filled in between with my go-to fall filler. Then I added the candles. The large ones were $5 from Home Goods, the smaller were $3.50 at Hobby Lobby. It took all of five minutes to do. I bet you have items lying around you could use too!

Project 2: Centerpiece or Mantle DecorationEasy to do, this display can spice up your dining room table or mantle.
What you'll need:
Candles - We suggest Home Goods
Candle Holders - We suggest Home Goods or Pier 1
Fall Beads - We suggest Michael's -
Weave Beads ThroughoutI weave the fall beading through the candles for texture. You can find the beading at Michael's for $7.00!
-
Add Beads to HurricanesTo bookend the candle display, you can add candles at elevated heights on both ends. I wrapped them around the candles in the hurricanes for more texture and layering.
