On Jan. 18, 2007, Lohan checked herself in to the Wonderland Center rehabilitation facility, and said she was making "a proactive decision to take care of my personal health." In May 2007, Lohan lost control of her car and ran the vehicle up a curb. Police found cocaine in her car and the police lab detected cocaine in her blood. After receiving treatment for minor injuries, Lohan was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Two days later, Lohan entered the Promises Treatment Centers rehabilitation facility. In July 2007, Lohan was booked on a felony charge of possession of cocaine and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. The following month, Lohan entered Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Sundance, Utah, for a third stint at rehabilitation, staying until October 2007. In July 2010, a Los Angeles judge ordered Lohan to spend 90 days in jail for violation of probation. Lohan spent 14 days in the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif., and upon release was ordered to attend a substance abuse treatment program for 90 days. On Aug. 2, 2010, Lohan reportedly entered Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. In Sept. 2010, the actress entered the Betty Ford clinic, after failing two more drug tests.![Courtney Love]()
Courtney Love, lead singer of the band Hole and wife of the late Kurt Cobain, admitted to taking drugs while pregnant with daughter Frances Bean in 1992. In 2003, Love was treated for an accidental overdose of the painkiller Oxycontin. When Love didn't enter rehab after being charged with possession of painkillers, she lost custody of her daughter. Charlie Sheen, the star of the sitcom "Two and a Half Men," has a troubled past dating to 1990, when he checked himself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. Then in 1998, he hit rock bottom when he was hospitalized after a near fatal drug overdose. As a result, he was sentenced to a detox clinic. Sheen voluntarily entered a rehab facility in February 2010 "as a preventative measure." It has not been specified why he was seeking treatment, but this latest stint comes as the 44-year-old actor faces legal problems arising from a fight with his wife in Aspen, Colo., in December 2009. On August 2, 2010, Sheen pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife during a Christmas Day argument in exchange for a plea deal with no jail time and more serious charges were dropped. Sheen was sentenced to 30 days in rehab, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management. In October 2010, Sheen allegedly caused more than $7,000 worth of damage at the Plaza hotel in New York City when he was high on alcohol and cocaine. He was taken to a hospital, but released. On January 27, 2011, Sheen was taken to the hospital by paramedics for stomach pains, and began rehab the next day. His TV show announced it was on hiatus.![Keith Urban]()
