Winfrey's weight has fluctuated continuously since her show first started in 1984. Winfrey's around-the-clock schedule has made it difficult to follow a strict diet and exercise regimen. Beyond that, Winfrey has a thyroid condition, which causes fatigue and can make it harder to control weight.
