    Biggest celebrity sex scandals

There are sex scandals, and then there are sex scandals.

  • Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee
Tuesday brought a shocking report that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with a member of his household staff while married to Maria Shriver, and kept it under wraps for a decade. This puts The Terminator in some unpleasant, sex scandal company. Actress Pamela Anderson and musician Tommy Lee made headlines when they married in February 1995 after knowing each other for four days. They made a sex tape on their honeymoon, which was eventually stolen from their home, and it caused quite the stir online. Anderson sued Internet Entertainment Group, the company that distributed the video, but she and Lee ultimately settled into a confidential agreement with the company – and the company still made the tape available to its website subscribers. Anderson and Lee have two sons. They have married twice, and divorced twice.

  • Eliot Spitzer
Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned in disgrace in March 2008 after getting caught in a call-girl scandal that shattered his corruption-fighting, straight-arrow image, saying: "I cannot allow my private failings to disrupt the people's work." The scandal erupted when allegations surfaced that then 48-year-old Spitzer spent thousands of dollars on a call girl at a swanky Washington hotel on the night before Valentine's Day. So far, Spitzer’s wife, Silda, has stood by her man.

  • Vanessa Hudgens
Following the appearance on the Web of a nude photo of Vanessa Hudgens in 2007, an insider reportedly said the "High School Musical" actress once sent risqué photos of herself to Nickelodeon star Drake Bell. Hudgens had e-mailed photos to the "Drake and Josh" actor before she was famous, a source told People magazine. • Ted Haggard
Less than 24 hours after he was fired from the pulpit of the evangelical megachurch he founded, the Rev. Ted Haggard confessed to his followers in November 2006 that he was guilty of sexual immorality. In a letter that was read to the congregation of the New Life Church by another clergyman, Haggard apologized for his acts and requested forgiveness. "I am so sorry for the circumstances that have caused shame and embarrassment for all of you," he said, adding that he had confused the situation by giving inconsistent remarks to reporters denying the scandal.

  • R. Kelly
Kelly is no stranger to sex scandals. The most public one occurred in February 2002, when a video allegedly of Kelly having sex with and urinating on a 14-year-old girl was released to the Chicago Sun-Times. After bootleg copies of the tape and file-sharing made the incident highly publicized, Kelly was indicted in Chicago in June 2002 for 21 counts of having sex with a minor. Kelly pleaded not guilty, denying he was the man in the video. After several delays, in June 2008, a Chicago jury found Kelly not guilty of all 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl.

  • Paul Reubens
In a FoxNews.com article in August, actor Paul Reubens of “Pee Wee Herman” fame, defended his 1991 public masturbation arrest. “Had we gone to trial, we had ready an expert from the Masters and Johnson Institute who was going to testify that in 30 years of research on masturbation the institute had never found one person who masturbated with his or her non-dominant hand,” Reubens said in “Playboy.” “I’m right-handed, and the police report said I was jerking off with my left hand. That would have been the end of the case right there, proof it couldn’t have been me.” The incident garnered enormous media attention and prompted him to retreat from the public eye to his philanthropist friend Doris Duke’s guest house. But even though he was in hiding, Reubens was still very much privy to his so-called “friends” making a mockery of the situation. Follow Fox News Health on Twitter!

Former "Playboy" bunny Kendra Wilkinson made a sex tape, according to a FoxNews.com article in May, and she’s fighting the release of it. Her reps confirmed to OK! Magazine that “Kendra’s attorneys are currently evaluating and pursuing Kendra’s rights with respect to the purported video and any third parties involved in the possible sale, reproduction or distribution of the same.” Vivid Entertainment, the company responsible for releasing Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, said it has obtained Wilkinson’s tape and planned to release it later this month under the Vivid-Celeb imprint. “We know that Kendra has millions of fans and we feel that it's rare to find well-produced, hardcore footage of a star of her magnitude,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid.
