  • Colleen Young: Para Swimming
    Colleen Young, a St. Louis, Missouri, native, was born with albinism and is legally blind. The Fairfield University student competed in the 2012 London Games and holds the American records in 50-yard breastsroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 50-meter breaststroke, 100-meter breaststroke, 200-meter breaststroke and 200-meter medley.   • Jill Walsh: Para Cyclying
    Jill Walsh, a Jamesville, New York, resident, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2010. Walsh took home gold at the 2015 Para Cycling Road World Championships for Team USA after previously scoring both a silver and bronze in 2014.   • Dave Wagner: Wheelchair Tennis
    Dave Wagner was paralyzed in a 1995 accident in the surf off the coast of Redondo Beach, California, in which he broke his neck and damaged his spinal cord. The Chula Vista, California, resident will be seeking his fourth gold medal in Rio, after bringing home the doubles gold medal in 2012, 2008 and 2004.   • Matt Stutzman: Archery
    Matt Stutzman, a Kalona, Iowa, resident, was born without arms but wouldn't let it get in the way of his love for archery. The 33-year-old comes from a family of hunters and taught himself to shoot an arrow using his foot. The 2012 Paralympic Games silver medalist also set a Guiness World Record for longest accurate shot and set a goal to become the world's best archer.   • Melissa Stockwell: Paratriathlon
    Melissa Stockwell lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and is Purple Heart recipient.  Stockwell, a former Second Liteunant in the Army, had her left leg amputated above the knee after being hit by a roadside bomb in Baghdad in 2004. The 36-year-old mom first represented Team USA at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games before becoming a triathlete. She is a three-time Paratriathlon National and World Champion.   • Megan Absten: Track & Field
    Megan Absten, an Anna Maria, Florida, resident, lost her left arm in an all-terrain vehicle accident. The 21-year-old wrestled in high school and won a silver medal in the 100-meter race at the 2013 U.S. Paralympics Track and Field Nationals, as well as a silver medal in the 200-meter race.   • Mason Abbiate: Para Soccer
    Mason Abbiate, an 18-year-old San Diego, California, resident is the youngest player in the history of Team USA's paralympic soccer team. He was born premature at 26 weeks, and weighed just over two pounds. Abbiate was diagnosed with a brain bleed and hydrocephalus, which is a buildup of fluid in the ventricles.
