This adorable, awestruck 3-month-old girl is melting hearts after being caught on video the moment she hears her mom for the first time.

Annabelle Lawrence of Idaho, who received two tiny hearing aids this week, blinks quizzically when her mother, Sarah Jo, asks: “Can you hear?”

The baby’s face registers a range of emotions – from excitement and surprise to puzzlement and concern – as she experiences the wonder of sound.

“Is that a normal response?” Sarah Jo asks the audiologist from Idaho Elks Hearing and Balance Center, Boise, Caters News reported.

“That’s a good response,” the audiologist responds before clapping, which a perplexed Annabelle clearly hears – turning her head a full 90 degrees in the direction of the elusive sound.

When she is 9 months old, she will be fitted with cochlear implants to replace the temporary hearing aids.

“Everything has been so overwhelming,” her mom said. “To be able to tell Annabelle that I love her and know she hears me is very emotional.”
