Urinary incontinence is a problem that affects both men and women – occurring when a person accidentally releases urine when he or she coughs, sneezes, jogs or laughs.

Causes for this disorder can include:

- Pregnancy and childbirth
- Bladder issues
- Obstruction
- Enlarged prostate
- Prostate cancer
- Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and Parkinson’s disease

Chronic urinary incontinence can range greatly in severity, disturbing anyone’s life.  

Fortunately, there are a variety of treatment options available:

- Bladder training
- Pelvic floor exercises
- Medications – both oral and topical
- Medical devices
- Botox treatment
- Surgery
