It's a statistical phenomenon, and it's happened 12 times in one senior class. A Georgia high school is boasting 12 sets of twins graduating in 2012, myFOXatlanta reported.

Walking the halls of Brookwood High in Gwinnet County, you'll likely see a lot of kids that look alike.  That's because the Brookwood High School seniors in the photo are all twins.

"You kind of wonder what was in the water back then," said softball coach Kent Doehrman.
Graduation might bring some relief to some of the staff at the school. Doehrman coaches identical twins Courtney and Caroline Erickson in softball.

"I'd just call Erikson! And they'd both turn so that wasn't good enough. So they said coach, we'll wear different colors, we'll wear different ribbons. Well I'm color blind so that didn't help," said Doehrman.

The twins say there are some advantages to having a twin like always having someone to talk to. But they say they hate people assuming they're just alike. They still don't see the big deal, but understand the fascination.

More On This...

"I guess I could understand people who aren't twins are like, you have 12 sets? That's pretty remarkable. But since we're twins, we're like, nope, it's pretty mainstream over here," said Sarah Killeen, one of the senior twins.

Because many of the twins grew up in the Gwinnett school system, the twins say they know each other. Many of the twins are going off to the same college after graduation.
