The Original Margarita

Ingredients 2 oz. blanco tequila 1 oz. Cointreau 1 oz. lime juice 1 lime wheel Salt Preparation Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and add ice. Shake and strain into a margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and salt.

Ingredients 1.5 oz. jalapeno infused Milagro Resposado .5 Triple Sec .5 lime juice 1 oz. blood orange puree Preparation Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake and pour on the rocks into a double old fashioned glass.

Ingredients 2 ½ oz. PAMA pomegranate liqueur 1 oz. Resposado tequila ½ oz. Triple Sec Splash of lime juice Splash of simple syrup 1 lime wheel Preparation Shake and serve over ice in a margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Ingredients 1.5 oz. Patron Reposado tequila 0.5 oz. Zen Green Tea Liqueur 0.5 oz. sour mix 0.2 oz. Triple sec 0.1 oz. Rose’s lime juice Salt Preparation Shake over ice, strain and serve straight up in a cosmopolitan glass. Garnish the rim of the glass with salt.

The Hot Mamacita Margarita

Ingredients 2 oz. Olmeca Altos Reposado tequila .75 oz. Mathilde pear liqueur 1 oz. lime juice 1 oz. blackberry puree 2 oz. ginger beer Blackberry skewer Preparation In a mixing tin, combine all ingredients except ginger beer and shake. Strain into a Collins glass and top with ginger beer. Gently stir and garnish with a blackberry skewer.

Pineapple Almond Margarita

Ingredients 4 chunks of pineapple, muddled 1 oz. Disaronno 1 oz. reposado tequila 1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice ½ oz. agave nectar 1 pineapple leaf Preparation In a mixing glass, muddle pineapple chunks. Combine the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into highball glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge and leaf.

Ingredients 2 oz. Cabo Wabo Añejo Tequila 1 oz. Licor 43 1 oz. Carolans Irish cream ¼ oz. Tuaca Mix of cinnamon and sugar for the rim Preparation Shake up liquid ingredients with ice. Strain cocktail over fresh ice into a rocks glass, rimmed with cinnamon sugar mixture.

Sunburnt Margarita

Ingredients 5 oz. freshly squeezed citrus juice (this recipe specifically uses blood oranges and satsumas) 5 oz. tequila 3 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice 1 oz. agave nectar 1 jalapeno pepper Preparation Place everything in a large cocktail mixer. Using a wooden spoon, muddle the jalapeno in the bottom of the shakers to break it up a bit. Add some ice and place the cocktail shaker lid and shake. Strain out the jalapeno and ice. Serve the margaritas over ice with our without salt.

Moët Margarita

Ingredients 2 oz. Don Julio Blanco 1 oz. Grand Marnier 1 oz. fresh lime juice .5 oz. simple syrup Moët Imperial champagne 1 lime Salt Preparation Add all ingredients, except champagne, in a cocktail shaker and shake. Pour in a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with champagne. Run lime around edge of glass and garnish with salt. Add lime to glass.

Frozen Ginger Coconut Margarita

Ingredients 1 ½ oz. Don Julio Blanco Tequila ½ oz. Canton Ginger Liqueur 2 spoons of cream of coconut Splash of sour mix Splash of orange juice Lime slices Salt Preparation Add all ingredients in a blender with three scoops of ice. Blend until smooth. Pour in a margarita glass. Rim glass with salt. Garnish with lime slices.
