Maple Chocolate Crunch Cookies

A hint of maple from Crown Maple is the perfect compliment to a traditional chocolate chip cookie.


  • 10 ounce Unsalted butter
  • 1 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons maple sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 lb 4 oz All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 2 cup Milk chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup Maple pearls


Step 1:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray

Step 2:

  • In a mixing bowl cream together the butter, maple sugar, brown sugar, salt and vanilla until thoroughly mixed. Add eggs one at a time, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl

Step 3:

  • In a seperate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add dry ingredients, maple pearls and chocolate chunks to the butter mixture. Mix until combined

Step 4:

  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto the cookie sheets about 2 inches apart

Step 5:

  • Bake for 8-12 minutes, turning and rotating halfway through. Cookies are done when they turn a golden color. Allow to cool on the baking pan for 1-2 minutes.
