It's official: Nobody wants little boxes of raisins instead of Halloween candy.

After surveying more than 40,000 of its users from across America, Influenster (a product review website) has determined each state's preferred Halloween treat. The site's analysts then took this information and fashioned it into a deliciously fascinating map (below), which stretches from the sugary shores of San Francisco to the peanut-buttery beaches of Block Island. As indicated above, the candy favored by the largest number of states was candy corn, which proved most popular in places like Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wyoming. However, Influenster is quick to acknowledge that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups actually earned the most indivudial votes, though they only managed to win the majority in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Other nougatty news of note: Arizona seems to have a large population of trick-or-treaters who expect to see fun-size Toblerone bars in their candy sacks, which leads us to believe they trick-or-treat exclusively at duty-free airport kiosks.

Check out the rest of Influenster's findings on their blog, then take a moment to tell us how much you love/hate candy corn in our poll below.
