Sure, some perfumes are almost so sweet you can taste but you actually want to drink a glassful?

Hotel Café Royal in London is launching a line of new drinks inspired by fragrances from Parisian fashion house Givenchy.

Starting Feb.1, the mixologists at the hotel’s Green Bar will be pouring divine libations to couture sippers, reports Drinks Business. The cocktails will have distinct color and "unique personality and taste, reflecting the key perfume notes which are unique, universal and distinguished” from seven Givenchy perfumes.

Tiziano Tasso, mixologist at The Club at Café Royal, created the new drinks to mirror the L’Atelier de Givenchy collection. Notable drinks include the Cuir Blanc, a “martini style cocktail” with Siberian pine extract for a “woody and fresh taste” and the Oud Flamboyant, which combines Japanese whisky and mandarin juice that supposedly evokes a bold, smoky wood flavor.

This idea might seem novel but its not the first time we’ve seen couture cocktails inspired by fashionable scents.

Last year, The Ritz-Carlton in Berlin launched the world’s first bar designated exclusively to matching cocktails with perfumes. Guests take a whiff of scents from a range of designers including Yves Saint Laurent and Guerlain and select a cocktail according to whatever notes intrigue their nose.

The fragrant cocktails will be served at Hotel Café Royal in London until March 31.
