Mom-to-be Jessica Biel is gearing up to open what may be the world’s first gourmet restaurant geared exclusively towards kids.

According to its Instagram account, Au Fudge is slated to open this May and the team is “beyond ecstatic!” Biel, who is expecting with singer Justin Timberlake, is due in April.

But behind the scenes, it appears that not everything is all rainbows and smiles at the eatery. Executive Chef Vic Casanova, who has been attached to the project since the beginning and developed the new menu with Biel and investors, has reportedly backed out.

“There are no hard feelings on either side, it was just the right decision at this time. He wishes them all the best!” a rep for the chef told People.

The organic restaurant, which will also have a bakery, will be located on Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood. Au Fudge has been posting a slew of delectable-looking but decidedly kid-friendly fare over the past few months. Don't worry parents, the restaurant does have a liquor license, so we're expecting some inventive cocktails, too.

So far it seems there will be tons of colorful creations sure to appeal to kid’s visual sensibilities like pasta dishes and lots of fresh bakery goodies.

Biel has not announced a replacement for Casanova but according to a People source, the Au Fudge team is “back on track” after running into the usual snags faced by any new restaurant.
