Gingerbread houses are a sweet treat that the whole family can work on together to celebrate the holiday season. But if you’re not really in the building mood, perhaps you’d like to have a luxury gingerbread house created for you. That is if you have money to burn.
Luxury product and experience website VeryFirstTo has launched ‘The Most Precious Christmas Gingerbread House Ever,’ made of 150 AAAA grade South Sea Pearls and a 5 carat unheated Mozambique Ruby set in the icing.
Created to look like your own home, the house comes with a hefty price tag of $77,910.
The ingredients that make up the house include organic ginger, Ceylon Cinnamon, Duchy organic eggs and Suma raw sugar cane.
Cordon Bleu-trained chef Georgia Green, owner of Georgia’s Cakes, designs and prepares all of the gingerbread houses. She was most recently praised for her jacket-shaped cake that she made for the launch of model Cara Delevingne’s collection for DKNY.
The measurements of the bespoke house will be roughly 26 inches by 14 inches by 18 inches.
