I’ve been interning at Fox for a month now, and I couldn’t be any happier with the experiences I’ve obtained thus far. From “101” seminars within my department to the Intern Seminar Series with all of the interns at Fox News Channel, I’ve gotten a wide variety of information from many people in many fields of work.

One of my favorite things about Fox is how willing everyone is to help the interns, teach us new things, and answer any questions. It’s great to know that basically any question I have will be answered with a thoughtful response, which really helps me understand any topic or task that I’m given.

The 101 sessions within my department are another great opportunity to understand the way things work in DOTCOM and learn more about the various roles that people play within the department. We’ve had sessions that cover everything from content syndication, to advertising, to design. All of the interns in my department were able to request certain topics that we’re interested in so that the 101 sessions can be tailored to our various interests.

The experiences I’m receiving at Fox cannot be matched. Each day brings interesting new opportunities and chances to continue perfecting things that I’ve been working on since I started my internship.
